There are four main sections of the Bureau:

Enhancing immunization services, decreasing missed opportunities to vaccinate, and improving linkages with other public health programs, such as Women, Infants and Children (WIC), have resulted in a significant decrease in the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases in Florida.

National Immunization Awareness Month - Link opens in new windowAugust is recognized as National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM). The goal of NIAM is to increase awareness about immunizations across the life span, from infants to adults and the elderly.

Standards for Immunization Practices
