Cancellation of 2009 Bureau of Immunization Summit - Immunizations Across the Lifespan!In consideration of the state’s current economic and fiscal status, the Bureau of Immunization regrets to inform you that it has become necessary to cancel this year’s upcoming Immunization Summit: Immunizations Across the Lifespan. The meeting was scheduled to take place on May 5-6, 2009, at the Marriott Tampa Airport Hotel. If you or any of your staff have made reservations or monetary commitments related to this event, please cancel them immediately. Our cosponsors, grantors, and honored guests enthusiastically await announcement of when the immunization summit will be rescheduled. Like them, we ask that you visit www.immunizeFlorida.org for updated information regarding summit planning activities. We appreciate and thank you for your continued support. Though this summit will not take place as planned, we ask all of you to continue your outstanding work to protect Floridians' infants, children, adolescents and adults against vaccine-preventable diseases.
